Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Your Bhutan tour begins after you arrive at the airport. At the airport, the Ever Nepal representatives welcome you and transfer you to your 3-star luxury hotel. Upon reaching there, you take some well-desired rest and spend the leisure time in visiting the nearby places of your hotel. In the evening, we invite you to a welcome dinner where you eat delicious cuisine. While at dinner, you can enjoy watching traditional dance performances and listening to local music. After that, you go to your premium room with modern amenities to spend a comfortable night.

Day 2: Mountain Flight to Everest and Day Tour

On this day, you explore the Everest Base Camp via flight within 4 hours. Your journey of exploring EBC and other places is separated into different time frames based on the key activities. The following details are listed below: 

6:30 AM

Your journey to EBC begins in the early morning (6:30 AM). At this time, your driver comes to pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport). Up to 6:30, you need to be prepared, pack your belongings and be ready in the hotel lobby for the driver. After that, your driver takes you to the airport.

7:00 AM

By 7:30 AM, you arrive at the airport. There, our representative helps you with the airport check-in process and completes all the necessary formalities for a smooth boarding experience for your flight. At 7:30 AM, you take a scenic flight to Lukla, which provides you with a beautiful view of the mountains, valleys, and gorges. The flight takes 45 minutes. 

7:45 AM

Upon arriving at Lukla, you rest for a while, around 10-15 minutes to refuel yourself. After that, you take a flight and fly to Pheriche (4,360 m). Once you witness the aerial view of Pheriche, you continue your helicopter flight toward Kala Kalapather (5,450 m), flying over the Everest Base Camp and the Khumbu Icefall. While you are on a flight, you are offered an aerial view of the highest peaks, Khumbu Glacier, Icefall, and deep Himalayan valleys. 

8:00 AM

At 8:00 AM, the helicopter land at the Kalapather. Upon landing, you have a leisure time of a few minutes to observe the awe-inspiring views of the world’s highest mountains (Mount Everest) and other massive peaks. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery, take some photos for memories and enjoy the fresh air during your free time. 

8:15 AM

After soaking in the views from Kalapather, you take your helicopter to fly either towards Kongde or to the Everest View Hotel. It takes around 10 minutes to reach these desired locations. Here, you take a leisurely breakfast while observing the beautiful views of the Himalayan scenery and the surrounding majestic mountains for around 1 hour. 

9:00 AM

At 9:00 AM, you fly back to Kathmandu by helicopter via Lukla. While returning back, you take a final look at majestic mountains, valleys and glaciers. The flight takes around 1 hour to reach Kathmandu. 

10:00 AM

Once your helicopter lands at Kathmandu at around 10:00 AM, our representative transfers you to your luxury hotel. After you arrive at your hotel, you take a well-deserved rest and then go exploring the famous cultural and historical places of Kathmandu with your guide in a private vehicle. The places that you visit on day 2 include: 

  • Swayambhunath stupa: This stupa is located in Kathmandu and is well-known for its white dome, golden spire, and spectacular views of the western side of the entire valley. The Syambhunath stupa is also called the Monkey Temple because of the countless monkeys found here. 
  • Patan Durbar square: Located in Lalitpur, this square is popular for its Newar architecture, intricate wood carvings, and historical palaces. Here, you can watch the traditional Nepalese art and culture.
  • Boudhanath stupa: Built 2500 years ago, Boudhanath stupa is famous for its massive mandala, vibrant Tibetan Buddhist culture, and spiritual significance. This old stupa contains the four pairs of eyes in four cardinal directions, symbolizing wisdom and compassion watching over all beings.
  • Pashupatinath temple: This Hindu temple, perched on the Bagmati River's bank, is known for its pagoda-style architecture, riverside ghats, and as a site of pilgrimage.

Day 3: Fly to Paro and Drive to Thimphu

Your Bhutan tour actually begins from this day. After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your driver comes to pick you up from your hotel three hours before your flight to Bhutan to complete the airport formalities. Upon reaching the TIA, you take your seat in the plane. After that, you travel towards Paro, Bhutan, which takes around 1:15 hours. The flight becomes more exciting once you approach through the Bhutanese foothills and make a sharp turn to land the flight on a small runway of Paro airport.

Upon reaching the airport, our Bhutanese representative welcomes you and heads towards Thimphu for a sightseeing tour. Upon reaching Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, you explore the Tashicho Dzong (the office of the king, ministers, and various other government organizations). You also visit the national memorial chorten (built in memory of King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, widely known as the Father of Modern Bhutan), handicraft stores and emporium. After exploring these attractions, you return to your hotel in Thimphu, where you eat a relaxed dinner before spending the night in a comfortable room.

Day 4: Drive to Paro and Explore and Hike to Tiger’s Nest

Following a leisurely breakfast, you pack your essentials and drive back to Paro along with your guide and driver. While having a scenic drive, you witness Paro Chhu river, traditional Bhutanese architecture, forest, local villages and mountain views. After a drive of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a distance of 55 km, you arrive at Paro. You take a well-deserved break in Paro before exploring the region. You visit the historic Rinpung Dzong, the national museum, the Kyichu Lhakhang Temple, and hike up to Paro Taktsang Monastery. These locations give you a glimpse of the natural beauty, history, and culture of Bhutan. After exploring these beautiful locations, you head back to the hotel where you have a warm and delicious dinner before spending a night in your cozy room.

After the driver arrives, you take a seat and drive to Paro Airport to catch your flight to Kathmandu. At the airport, the EverNepal team manages all the check-in and boarding formalities. After that, you take a flight towards Kathmandu, while witnessing aerial views of towering peaks. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you can return to your home country.
